Norris Paint & Bodyworx, LLC is a local family-owned and operated body shop in Benson, North Carolina. The owner, James Norris, has been working in the industry for nearly 25 years.

He started the journey by working for local body shops. While working in the industry, James saw the pros and cons of the operations he worked in and of the automotive body shop industry in general.

James’ goal was to one day own his own body shop which he did by starting his own body shop in 2016 out of his home.

While he was working for other shops early on in his career, he was mentored by many talented business owners who taught him the trade. Their attention to detail and their dedication to getting the job done right inspired him to continue honing his skills over the years. When he opened his own business, James knew that his shop would serve clients locally and take ALL insurance so as to better serve his community.

Norris Paint & Bodyworx cares deeply about taking the time to do each job to the best of our ability, but also about meeting the needs of our clients with efficiency and budget–level pricing. Norris Paint and Bodyworx believes in accessible pricing so that everyone can afford to fix their vehicle after an accident.

At Norris Paint and Bodyworx, we make the process easy for you with free estimates and by working with insurance difficulties for you. We believe it’s our job to help knock down the road blocks preventing you from repairing your car’s paint, dents, and body damage after an accident. In December 2018, James moved Norris Paint and Bodyworx into a larger location in Benson, NC. However, the same core values of careful attention to detail and customer care remain. One day he hopes to pass Norris Paint and Bodyworx down to his son.

This is our second time using Norris paint & Bodyworx. I must say given the reasons we had to come they have both times lived beyond our expectations. 4 weeks after purchasing a brand new 2022 Toyota Camry I was pulled out in front of and the front of the vehicle was destroyed. We pulled out the handy dandy business card and James and his team has my baby brand spanking new. All the way down to the electronics and the pearly white paint. They nailed it!
